Electro Ceramic Industries Acquires United Glass to Metal Sealing, Inc.

Electro Ceramic Industries is on the move again expanding its product offering to provide customers with a wider range of electronic packaging solutions. We are pleased to announce the recent acquisition of United Glass to Metal Sealing, Inc. based in Lawrence, MA to expand ECI’s glass-to-metal seal product offering. United Glass's technical competence and sophisticated production techniques enable us to offer glass-to-metal seals in a variety of applications. New engineering advances enable us to manufacture the latest in header designs including feed throughs. “This synergistic acquisition will provide ECI with expanded capacity, technical resources along with a broadened glass-to-metal seal product offering” stated Jasmine Shah, President of ECI. “The acquisition will provide United Glass with the ability to immediately expand its offering to our customer base” stated Paul Sullivan, President of United Glass to Metal Sealing Inc.
